Online conference with Me Luc Trudeau, lawyer

From saturday may 22 2021  2:00 p.m. to saturday may 22 2021  4:30 p.m.

To our members and supporters,

The ADGPQ invites you to a videoconference with Me Luc Trudeau, Saturday May 22nd at 2:00 pm.

Me Luc Trudeau, a family lawyer with more than thirty-five years of experience, will defend the right of grandchildren to maintain their ties with their grandparents, both at the Superior Court level and at the Chambre de la jeunesse, and will explain the existing recourses in this regard. He will also be available to answer questions from members present on this thorny but very real subject. The conference will be followed by a question and answer period.

Afterwards, the Association will briefly present the purpose of its existence and the support provided to Quebec grandparents when they need help, especially when they are cut off from their grandchildren.

The conference is free for members and $10 for non-members. If you wish to become a member of our Association, it is $25 per person and $40 for a couple. This gives you access to one free activity each month and significant discounts on the fees of certain professionals.

The videoconference will take place via the ZOOM platform. This ZOOM platform, which is on the internet, allows you to participate in real-time presentations.

If this is your first experience with Zoom, feel free to connect in advance to make sure everything is working properly on your device. To help you out, we will open the "virtual" room at 1:30pm to familiarize you with the platform and to interact with each other.

The link to access the virtual room will be sent to you by email after you register for the videoconference. To register, click on this link. At the scheduled time, simply click on the ZOOM link that will be sent to you.

You will be able to join the videoconference from a computer, tablet or cell phone. It will also be possible to follow the conference, in audio, from a fixed phone.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, May 22 on the Zoom platform.

We wish you all the best.
