Parental and Grandparental Alienation Awareness Month

The April 25, was INTERNATIONAL PARENTAL AND GRAND PARENTAL ALIENATION AWARENESS DAY. Work together to lift the veil on parental alienation, which is a little-known form of family violence.

The 2021 Awareness Campaign entitled "The Unsuspected Tragedy of Parental Alienation" runs from April 15 to May 15, 2021, highlighting International PA Awareness Day which took place on April 25 in many countries around the world.

As grandparents, we can experience this directly as grandparents or because we are the parents of the alienated parent. What to do and not to do in such a situation?

As part of the month of awareness against parental alienation, our coffee meeting on Thursday, May 6 , 7pm, will focus on this theme. It will be as usual via ZOOM.

We will receive testimonies from grandparents who are or have been victims of this.

These testimonies will be useful to the Association for its representations with regard to the next youth protection reform but also with regard to the family law reform (article 611 CCQ).
