Coffee meeting of May 12 - News of the Association

The Grandparents’ Association is pleased to invite you to its coffee meeting to be held on Thursday, May 12 at 7:00 pm.

The theme of the meeting will again be Bill 2 reforming family law.

The Grandparents’ Association has learned that the Minister, Mr. Simon Jolin-Barrette, is determined to adopt Bill 2. This means for us: grandparents will be kept out of their grandchildren’s lives in many cases and this before the elections.

We will also talk about the Association’s participation in various activities:

- Coalition for Elder Dignity Symposium on May 3.
- Meeting at the AQDR of Rivière-du-Loup on May 5th.
- Participation in the Salon de justice organized by the AQDR of Quebec City on Saturday and Sunday, June 4 and 5.
- Conference of Me Luc Trudeau on Saturday at 3 p.m. as part of the previous event.

The café-rencontre will take place via the ZOOM platform. If this is your first experience with ZOOM, feel free to connect in advance to make sure everything is working properly on your device. To help you out, we’ll open the virtual room at 6:30 p.m. to familiarize you with the platform and to chat with each other.

Our discussions and your ideas will further help the Association to better assist you and defend your rights.
